About Me
I am happiest outside.
Professionally, I have two decades of experience writing, editing, and creating content strategies across multiple industries, including beer, wine, furniture, textiles, DEI, tech, healthcare, leadership, and finance. Throughout my career, I've led every stage of the writing process—developing messaging, shaping brand identity, creating content calendars, and editing at multiple levels, from developmental to copyediting to proofreading.
Now, I specialize in content for nonprofits, public benefit corporations, and B Corps. On the side, I write and edit travel and adventure stories.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts with honors and distinction in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and my Masters of Philosophy in English from Cambridge University.
Outside of work, I run, camp, paddleboard, snorkel, raft, try to surf, and sometimes climb rocks (but that’s only to spend time with my husband). I love long hikes and sleeping under the stars. I've run 20 marathons and ultramarathons, including the Kauai 50 and four Boston Marathons in the fastest female qualifying group (3:33:29 PR). I pick up litter. I volunteer. And I donate blood. Those things are important to me.
