Roxanne Bellamy

I've spent my whole career making complicated things legible.

For fifteen years, I worked as an editor and editorial director—most recently at CAPTRUST, one of the largest investment advisory firms in the United States, and currently, still, as Editor in Chief of VESTED magazine.

I know how to write for sophisticated, skeptical audiences; I know how to build a publication from the ground up; and I know the difference between a story that lands and one that disappears.

A few years ago, I started pointing my experience toward the work I am most passionate about: sustainability and conservation. I'm now pursuing an ALM in Sustainability at Harvard Extension School and work full-time as a freelance marketing contractor for relevant organizations helping to make the world better.

When not writing, I like to be outside and sweating.

I’ve finished more than 20 marathons and ultramarathons, including four Boston Marathons in the fastest qualifying age group and the Kauai 50 Miler. I also dabble in all forms of nature-based play, including scuba, snorkeling, SUPing, surfing, rafting, long-distance hiking, and backcountry camping.
